I know what it's like to have a successful career and still feel like something is missing.

Before I became a therapist, I spent 20 years working in finance in the fast-paced world of Bay Area technology companies.

On paper, I had built a successful career. I understood hard work, achievement, responsibility, and the pressure to keep moving forward. I also knew what it felt like to be burned out and to wonder whether the life I'd worked so hard to build was actually the life I wanted.

My journey into becoming a therapist wasn't a straight line. It was a second act, shaped in part by my own experiences with burnout, mental health challenges, and the transformative power of therapy.

That experience fundamentally changed how I understand success, fulfillment, and what it means to feel connected to yourself.

I have a particular soft spot for people who seem to have everything together on the outside but feel overwhelmed, disconnected, or lost on the inside.

People who are accomplished but exhausted. Who take care of everyone else but struggle to recognize their own needs. Who understand their patterns intellectually but can't seem to change them. Who wonder why, despite doing everything "right," something still doesn't feel right.

I understand that experience. And I know meaningful change is possible.

Work History

Before entering the mental health field, I spent two decades working in Bay Area tech accounting and finance. I'm also a Certified Public Accountant (CPA License #93480), a background that continues to inform how I understand professional pressure, burnout, and major life transitions.
